World No Tobacco Day 2025 Activities by Public Health Dentistry (20 May–5 June)

World No Tobacco Day was witnessed by Rama Dental College, Hospital and Research Centre at Rama University in Kanpur with a number of activities designed to encourage a tobacco-free life.
- Faculty and PGs conducted free tobacco cessation counseling and screening of patients from 20th May to 5th
- Free nicotine replacement chewing gums were also given to the patients who needed nicotine replacement therapy for tobacco cessation.
- Oral health outreach program for awareness and screening of patients was held on 27th May 2025 atUdaitpur Kanpur. Almost 45 patients were screened for oral health problems, and 05 patients were counseled for cessation of tobacco habit. Tobacco - related oral pre-malignant lesions and conditions were observed in 02 patients.
- A Grafitti wall art competition was held in the college. All the teams made impactful insights into the tobacco cessation strategies at global and National levels. Certificates were given to the participants and winners.
