Admission Process

To seek admission at Rama University, students must secure a minimum eligible score in Class XII (CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2026/2027). The university's final selection process is based on an entrance test, counseling, and an interview.

1. Mode of Admission

Aspirants shall submit the online application through Rama University Website / Portal with prescribed application Fee. Alternatively, a candidate may procure Admission Brochure from Rama University Campus and submit hard copy...

of the Application Form duly filled in the Admission Cell. All the admissions will be done on the basis of RUET.

2. Physical Appearance for Admission

Since all the Courses run by the University is regular, it is mandatory for the candidates to appear in person for admission with proper Identity Proof. The Candidate must bring the following documents also in original along

with one set of self-attested photocopies:

  • 10th Marksheet and Certificate
  • 12th Marksheet and Certificate
  • Graduation Marksheet (For PG Courses Only) and Degree Certificate.
  • Migration Certificate/ Transfer Certificate
  • Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.
  • Caste Certificate (if Applicable)
  • Affidavit for Gap Year(s), if applicable
  • Copy of Aadhar Card
  • 4 passport size coloured photographs in formal dress.
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Income Certificate

For UG Courses

Students securing 60% and above in their Any State/ CBSE, ISC Board Exams / CUET Score.

For PG Courses

Students securing 50% and above in their Exams from any recognized University.

Admission Eligibility Criteria

  • BCA:10+2 passed in any stream with 50% from any recognized board.
  • B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering: 10+2 Passed in PCM with 50%for all categories.
  • B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Internet of Things: 10+2 Passed in PCM with 50% from any recognized board (Lateral Entry to 2nd-year Passed B.Sc. PCM or Diplomain Relevant Stream.)
  • B.Tech - Biotech: 10+2 Passed in PCM, PCB with 50% on any recognized board (Lateral Entry to 2nd-year Passed B.Sc. ZBC.)
  • B.Tech. (Food Science & technology):10+2 with a minimum of 50% from the science stream with mandatory subject like PCM/PCB
  • M.Tech - Electrical Engineering Power Electronics & Power System: BE/B. Tech. (EE/EEE/ ECE) with 50% from any recognized University
  • M.Tech - Mechanical Engineering: B.E./B.Tech. (ME/Automobile/Mechatronics/Production/any other relevent field) with 50% from any recognized University
  • M.Tech - EC (Micro Electronics & VLSI Design): BE/B. Tech. (ECE/EEE) M.Sc.(Electronics)with 50% from any recognized University.
  • M.Tech - Computer Science & Engineering: B.Tech.(CSE/IT),MCA,M.Sc(CS/IT) with 50% from any recognized University.
  • M.Tech - Civil Engineering (Construction Technology & Management / Structural Engineering / Transportation Engineering): BE/B.Tech. (Civil) with 50% from any recognized University.
  • M.Tech - Biotechnology: B.Tech. in Biotech/(Biochemical Engineering/Chemical Engineering/ Food Technology)/M.Sc Biotechnology / M.Sc Zoology/ M.Sc Botany/M.Sc Life sciences/ M.Sc. Agriculture with 50% from any recognized University.
