A National Conference on “Revisiting Judicial Activism & Judicial Self- Restraint”

Rama University’s Faculty of Juridical Sciences, Kanpur organised a National Conference on “Revisiting Judicial Activism & Judicial Self- Restraint” on Saturday, 12th November 2016. Chief Guest – Hon'ble Justice, Mr. Mahendra Dayal, Judge, High Court Allahabad (Lucknow Bench), U.P. and Hon'ble Chancellor, Rama University, Dr. Suraj B.S. Kushwah along with other guests presided over the inaugural function. Dr. Rushen Chahal, Vice-Chancellor, Rama University delivered his Opening Remarks in the Inaugural Address. As special guests, Mr Piyush Shukla (Advocate, Allahabad High Court), Mr. Sumit Srivastava, Dr. Sanjay Singh and Mr. Anuj Dayal expressed their views to the audience. The main objective of the program was to explain about the right methods and process of the law to all students. Justice Mr. Dayal expressed his views on Revisiting Judicial Activism & Judicial Self- Restraint and explained the various provisions of the other legislations. The program was lead by Mr. Pranav Singh (P.R.O. Rama University, Kanpur). All the faculty members, students pursuing graduation or post-graduation in the field of Law were present on the event.
