Extempore Speech Competition

Under Event Club an “Extempore Speech Competition” has been organised in Faculty of Commerce & Management for Management students on 22nd April,2017 at FCM Building.
One has rightly said, “For effective extempore speaking candidate must be fluent, erudite and articulate.”An extempore speech is an impromptu speech which the candidate is required to make on a topic there and then.
FCM plans various activities to cater all round development of its students. Students often reveal what they had long hidden, they would be otherwise reluctant to divulge. With the same objective an extempore speech competition was organized at FCM under the on 22nd April,2017 coordinated by Ms. Akanksha Srivastava (Faculty of FCM).
The competition was open to all the students of undergraduate & postgraduate courses. It was an individual activity. Minimum 5 students from each course were selected to participate in this competition.
Topics for the speech were GST, Demonetization, Startup India, New India:Under Leadership Of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Digital India.
The participants were judged on the basis of confidence, content, voice modulation, pronunciation and overall impact.The winners of the competition were : Priyanshu Tiwari(BBA II Sem), Shubham Sawariya(BBA II Sem), Ashish Agarahari(MBA II Sem) and Sunil Kumar(MBA II Sem). The competition was judged by Mr. Madhur Tandon,Dr. Govind Kumar and Mr. Jonmejoy Tamuly.
Dr. Divya Gupta Chowdhry, Dean Of FCM, appreciated the immense talent and fantastic speeches of the participants.
