2nd National Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Day Held at Rama University

Kanpur, October 10, 2024 – The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and the Rama Institute of Pharmacy, Rama University, organized the 2nd National Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Day on October 10, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The event, held at the ICT Room of FPHS, focused on raising awareness about the critical guidelines that govern the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
The cGMP guidelines ensure that pharmaceutical products are consistently produced and controlled according to strict quality standards, essential for product safety, efficacy, and quality. Covering all aspects of production, from facility design to staff training, the event emphasized how adherence to these guidelines is critical for protecting public health.
Prof. (Dr.) Neelam Jain, Dean of Pharmacy, delivered the opening address, stressing the importance of cGMP compliance in ensuring the quality and safety of pharmaceutical products. Ms. Goldee Yadav, Associate Professor at FPHS, served as the keynote speaker, providing a detailed overview of cGMP principles and their significance in preventing production errors.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Associate Professor Mr. Neeraj Jain, who appreciated the efforts of all participants in making the day a success.
