Annual Sports Week 2023- Hapur Campus

Day 2 of Sports Week was splendid as students of batches 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 competed with each other in a different team to qualify for the sports event. It was a sunny day with a warm temperature regardless of which there was not a single decline in the level of enthusiasm and excitement seen among students. The day started with the Boy’s Cricket match held between Team A and Team B of batch 2021 at 11 am. The players of both teams showed their commitment to the sport and participated with zeal to win the match to proceed further in the league. We saw some great shots from the players of both teams and the crowd was cheering for their respective teammates. Both the teams put their efforts to win the match and players were trying their best to contribute to the win. The day proceeded with a Football match between the boy's teams of batch 2022 and 2021 where we saw some splendid passing, tackling and attack from the players of both teams. Despite the sunny day, players were filled with energy and enthusiasm to get a clear win. We also witnessed a spectacular match between the girl’s cricket teams from batch 2022 and 2021 where the former team (batch 2022) overpowered the latter team (batch 2021) and won the finals. The Batters of both teams showed some splendid shots all over the ground, yet the bowlers of batch 2021 failed to defend the runs and batch 2022 chased the target within in 4 overs.
Basketball matches were exciting as well, as all witnessed the aggressive yet competitive gameplay of batch 2021 and 2022 respectively. All the students played well with good sportsmanship and showed controlled aggression to win the game. They managed to implement their strategies well to compete with each other and eventually Batch 2022 won the match.
Indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess were also spectated by many students who showed their mental and motor skills to astonish everyone. It was a spectacle of skill and enthusiasm which bound the students to cheer their batch mates and boost their morale.
On the other turf, girls competed with each other in the Kho-Kho tournament. It was splendid to see their enthusiasm and competitiveness to win the game. The day concluded with the Cricket match comprised of some astonishing shots by boys of batch 2021 and 2022 all around the corners. It was eye candy to watch them bat. The events of day 2 paved the way for further events to be held on a subsequent day and proceed towards the finals of most of the sports events.
