Annual Sports Week Closing Ceremony

Today, on 25 February 2023, the Annual Sports Festival concluded with a bang at Rama Medical College. The stage moderators welcomed all the respected guests present and praised the program which started with Saraswati Vandana. After this, the cultural presentation by the college students mesmerized the audience. Not only this, all the audience and guests greeted him with applause. The students of the 2021 batch, performing wonderful art, awakened the spirit of patriotism among all by singing a patriotic song. After this, sports prizes were distributed by respected Dr. Suraj Kushwaha (M.D.) for sports including Badminton, Javelin Cricket, 100 M. Race, Lemon Race, Shot Put, Volley Ball, and Javelin. Our Managing Director Dr. Suraj Kushwaha congratulated the prize-winning students and appreciated their passion for sports.
Taking the program forward, student Kankita sang a wonderful song, after which everyone greeted her with applause. Thereafter, Debarghya, Ishneet and Cheshta performed a dance, seeing which everyone was delighted. Our Principal Director Aparajita Chauhan addressed the winners of Chess, Shotput and Karram and gave away the prizes. She encouraged and praised all the winners. The program then moved ahead and Ishneet, Arunima, Prachi and Siya (Batch 2021) enthralled everyone with a group dance performance. Everyone appreciated and greeted their performance with loud applause. Later Mrs. Renuka Singh while addressing the students gave away the prizes which included all the winners of basketball, football, table tennis, lemon race, tug of war, and bora race.
Taking the program forward, a program of Bhangra and Rap singing was also presented which was enjoyed by all. Maj. Gen. Charanjit Singh Ahluwalia (MS) facilitated the winners of sports events including Football, Javelin, 100 m. race, carrom and awarded them with prizes. The students of Batch 2021 - 22 presented melodious music accompanied by guitar playing which engrossed everyone.
Moving towards the conclusion of the function, Principal Mr. Anshu Sharma honoured and distributed prizes to the winners of remaining games like Cricket, Kho-Kho, Badminton, Chess and Volley Ball. After this, the students of batch 2022 concluded the ceremony by presenting a group dance. The presidents of the Sports Committee and Cultural Committee and M.D. were present on the stage. Dr. Suraj Kushwaha honoured and expressed gratitude to all the arrangement personnel for the successful completion of the function. In the end, Principal Sir expressed gratitude to the guests and students while appreciating their commendable contribution. In this way, the annual sports festival was successfully and happily concluded.
