The second day of the 4th National Conference-2024 at Rama Medical College began with a warm welcome to the dignitaries and delegates. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm and anticipation as participants gathered for a day of insightful sessions and discussions.
6th Plenary Session: Modernization in Nursing: Legal and Ethical Issues
Mrs. S. Sumiya, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Rama University, kick-started the day with a thought-provoking session on "Modernization in Nursing: Legal and Ethical Issues." Her presentation shed light on the evolving legal and ethical landscape in the nursing profession, emphasizing the need for modernization to keep pace with the rapidly changing healthcare environment.
7th Plenary Session: New Faces of Transformational Leadership in Nursing
Prof. Dr. Farah Azmi, Dean and Principal of Aligarh College of Nursing, Aligarh Muslim University, led the 7th plenary session on "New Faces of Transformational Leadership in Nursing." Dr. Azmi discussed the emerging leaders in nursing and their roles in shaping the future of healthcare through innovative and transformational leadership practices.
8th Plenary Session: Impact of AI in Nursing
The impact of artificial intelligence in nursing was the focus of the 8th session, presented by Prof. Dr. Naveena J.H, Vice Principal of the Government College of Nursing, GSVM, Kanpur. Dr. Naveena elaborated on how AI is revolutionizing nursing practices, enhancing patient care, and improving healthcare outcomes.
9th Plenary Session: Promoting Problem-Based Learning in Nursing Education
Mr. Aslam Abbas, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Rama University, conducted the 9th plenary session on "Promoting Problem-Based Learning in Nursing Education." His session emphasized the importance of problem-based learning in fostering critical thinking and practical skills among nursing students.
10th Plenary Session: Future Scope of DNP and Clinical Nurse Specialists
Mrs. K. Jyothisree, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Rama University, explained the future scope of Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Clinical Nurse Specialists during the 10th Plenary session. She highlighted the expanding roles and opportunities for advanced practice nurses in the evolving healthcare landscape.

11th Plenary Session: Emerging Topics in Nursing
The afternoon session commenced with the 11th Plenary session, led by Mr. Deepak Suwalka, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Nursing, Rama University. This session explored emerging topics in nursing and set the stage for the subsequent scientific paper presentations.
Scientific Paper Presentations
Following the plenary sessions, various nurse researchers presented their scientific papers in the conference hall of the Faculty of Nursing building. These presentations showcased the latest research and innovations in the field of nursing.
