DAY -5 REPORT OF MODEL EXHIBITION COMPETITION
THEME: STEP UP FOR BREAST FEEDING: EDUCATE & SUPPORT
EVENT: Model Exhibition Competition (DAY-5)
TIME: 10 AM-12.30 PM
VENUE: Library, Faculty of Nursing, Rama University
Day 5 was enriched with The model exhibition organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and Child Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, Rama University, Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur. All students of B.Sc. Nursing, ANM, and GNM participated actively in the model exhibition competition. It was held in the Library and Seminar Hall of the Faculty of Nursing on 5th August 2022 as a part of the World Breast Feeding Week Celebration-2022. The timing was from 10 AM- 12:30 PM.
Lt.col. Dr. Siddharth Mani, Chief Medical Superintendent, Rama Hospital, Dr. Anita Yadav, Dean of Agricultural Sciences, and Prof. Jasmi Manu, Dean of Faculty of Nursing were Inaugurated and evaluated the model exhibition competition. All specialty-related models were prepared by the students like Green House Effect, Types of Suturing, Radiant Warmer, National Immunization Schedule, Hot Air Oven, Developmental Mile Stones, etc.
A total of 33 groups participated in the model exhibition competition and the best three models were selected by the Jury Members. The Model Exhibition was successfully conducted with complete participation and presentation by the student nurses.
