Delving into the Budget: Experts Share Insights on "Sapta Rishi" at Rama University Symposium

The Faculty of Rama University recently organized a two-day Budget Symposium, which delved into important economic issues, including discussions on "Sapta Rishi". The event brought together leading experts in the fields of finance, law, and taxation to share their insights on the Memorandum of Budget 2023, as well as the implications of the amendments made in the previous budget.
Mr. Khushiram D. Jadhwani, MD of Vidhik Legit Advocates, a boutique law firm based in Navi Mumbai, and a seasoned Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, provided a lucid explanation of the budget amendments and their impact on students.
Mr. Alok Mishra, a seasoned Company Secretary and former Head Legal & Company Secretary and Compliance Officer of Mahanagar Gas Ltd., discussed the seven tenets of the Saptarishi budget, shedding light on its potential implications for the economy.
Mr. Mridul Maheshwari, an expert in Mergers & Acquisitions, Deal Making, and Taxation with vast experience in organizations like EY, PwC & Tech Mahindra, highlighted the budget's opportunities for young students.
Dr. Meenakshi Jaiswal, a Financial Analyst, addressed queries from students regarding the budget, providing valuable insights and analysis.
The first day of the symposium featured presentations from students on various sectors of the economy, with Dr. Indu Shukla, the Convener, delivering the introductory remarks. The Dean, Prof. (Dr.) Vaishali Dhingra, in her valedictory address, discussed the budget's implications for various sectors, providing a comprehensive overview of the event.
