ABOUT MOOT COURT COMPETITION
Faculty of Juridical Sciences successfully organized, ‘Dr. B.S. KUSHWAH MEMORIAL 3rd INTRA MOOT COURT COMPETITION-2022’.
Moot court involves a simulated appellate court (appellate advocacy) or arbitral case, which is focused solely on the application of the law to a common set of evidentiary assumptions, facts, and clarifications/corrections to which the competitors are introduced. It is one of the key extracurricular activities in law schools. A moot court competition not only helps the students to boost their confidence and remove the fear of public speaking, but it also gives them an insight of real world of the litigation.
Moot Court Competition began on 8th October, 2022 with the researcher test in which approximately 15 teams participated. After the selection, 10 teams presented their memorial before the judging panel. After the quarter final and semifinal two teams were selected for the final round.
In the final round of Moot Court Competition on 12th October 2022, 2 teams presented their memorial before the chief guest Hon’ble Susheel Kumar Singh (Civil Judge) and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority. Both the team presented their memorial as per set rules. At last one team was selected as winner and second was as runner up.

In the Last Dr.Ravi Kant Gupta, Dean Faculty of Law presented momento to the Chief Guests Hon’ble Susheel Kumar Singh (Civil Judge), Adv. Rakesh Mishra (Mahamantri) and Dr. Ankur Srivastava presented momento to Adv. Shashank Pandey as token of respect. The final round was witnessed by the Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar, Dr. Sandeep Kumar Shukla, Deputy. Registrar, Dr. Hari Om Saran, Dean Academic Affair .
