Faculty of Juridical Sciences and NSS Collaborate for Swachhta Pledge at Rama University

On 17th September 2024, the Faculty of Juridical Sciences at Rama University, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS), organized a Swachhta pledge-taking ceremony. The event was focused on promoting cleanliness and green practices within the university campus. All participants, including students and staff, unanimously agreed to dedicate at least two hours every week to contribute to the cause of maintaining a clean and green environment.
During the ceremony, students pledged to keep their surroundings clean and expressed their commitment to spreading the message of cleanliness through social media and public talks. This initiative aimed to extend the importance of cleanliness beyond the university, encouraging the broader community to participate.
The ceremony was graced by Shri Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar of Rama University, who delivered an inspiring address about the significance of environmental conservation. Other notable attendees included Mr. Akhilesh Kumar (Assistant Registrar), Mr. Raghvendra Singh (Officer in charge of NSS, Rama University), and the convener of the event, Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean of the Faculty of Juridical Sciences. The event was also attended by esteemed faculty members such as Dr. V.V.B. Singh, Dr. Priya Jain, Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, and Dr. Sadhna Trivedi, along with other participants like Mr. Rahul Singh, Mr. Ashish Tripathi, Mr. Shirsh Pandey, Ms. Kaneez Fatima, and Ms. Riddhi Tripathi (Co-Convener).
The event successfully fostered a sense of responsibility among students and staff, reinforcing the importance of a collective effort in maintaining cleanliness for a healthier and more sustainable environment
