GUIDELINE FOR EVENT
1. Entries of Google sheet registered candidates will only be accepted.
2. Only original/ unpublished/unreleased work will be accepted. Plagiarism will not be allowed.
3. Except for Quiz, entries of all contests may be submitted from ________2020 through respective email ids provided for the same.
4. The contests are open for all age groups above 16 years.
5. Shared link of your performance on WhatsApp, Youtube, Google Drive will not be accepted.
6. While sending videos mention Name & Mobile no. as mentioned in the registration form.
7. All videos sent by participants will be the property of FET, RAMA University.
8. The decision of Judges will be final and binding on all participants
9. Judgment will be done in two rounds
a. In first-round best 10 entries will be selected by the judges appointed by organizers.
b. In 2nd round selected 10 entries for each contest will be posted on Facebook/ Instagram /YouTube. The links of the above social sites will be widely circulated
c. The entries getting maximum likes in each contest will be announced winners for 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions.
10. Award & E-certificate will be given to the winners.
11. E certificate will be given to all participants.
12. Judgment may take 10 to 15 days after the event.
Important Guidelines for participants in Online training:
1. Mute your mic the moment you are joining the meeting
2. Switch off the video for proper clarity and connectivity towards the host or presenter.
3. Make sure you sit in a place where you have a proper internet connection.
4. All questions will be answered after the session. Please use the raise hand option so that the presenter will unmute you.
5. Please use the same link if the meeting collapses due to network issues
6. Ensure you are 10 minutes early to the meeting to enable the host to admit you in.
7. Ensure your audio is working properly.
8. Please do not use the Chat during the Session time.
9. To avoid disturbances, the meeting will be locked once the sessions start and no new participants can join.
10. For marking attendance, Make sure that your zoom name is the same as yours which was given in the registration form, otherwise rename it with your name.

E TechManthan Event Conduction steps
- Create a group of all faculty and Delegates.
- The registration link will be sent by Promotion Team to all the colleges/Institutes.
- All the Students participants will connect with concern event coordinator of there WhatsApp group.
- Coordinators create a group of Whatsapp of students those who are participating in particular event/Events
- The Event coordination will send a link as per the schedule of event to faculty group and event group.
- In Inauguration Ceremony: link will send by Mr. Anurag ( Event Manager to Faculty and all coordinators as per the schedule of Inaugural Ceremony.
- The speech will be delivered by Respected Dean sir and start the Events.
EVENT DETAILS
E-JUNKYARD
“Creativity is a mix of ideas and hard work.”
Junkyard Wars is a designing and building event in which you can show your improvisation and creative skills. Participant teams should complete the given task using only the materials available in the junk. The participant teams are given access to use a junkyard and the facilities of the waste household items/scrap material and are required to build a valuable machine/equipment from that scrap material in a given amount of time. However, this event also requires a sound understanding of the basic theoretical principles of engineering.
II. ELIGIBILITY
1. Participants from different schools/colleges can form a team.
2. All students must have a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes.
3. Participants need to have a basic idea about basic physics and mathematics.
4. It is recommended that you keep the physical exertion of the final round in mind while choosing your teammates. Teams cannot be changed between rounds.
Each team can consist of a maximum of 4 members.
III. EVENT STRUCTURE
By seeing the spread of the pandemic COVID-19 on a larger rate this time in favor of students health and safety our University management has decided to conduct this event via online mode through zoom app/google meet and it will consist of total 2 rounds:
ROUND 1
? It is the Qualifying round.
Task: Participating teams should make a small toy cart with wheels made up of cold drink cans only. You can use a maximum of two cans. The maximum allowed dimension for the cart is 25x25x25cm. There is no limit for the minimum dimension. Make this model by your own and
You need to display it at the time of JUNKYARD WAR first round. Electric controls are not allowed. The system should be purely mechanical. The cart will have to move down an inclined plane and cover a maximum distance with minimum deviation from the axis of symmetry of the inclined plane.
? TOP 15 TEAMS WILL BE QUALIFIED FOR SECOND ROUND.
ROUND 2
? It is the final round.
Task: The problem statement will be given on the spot, teams have to make a physical model (a working mechanism). For making it, the teams will be requiring various tools, junk, joining methodologies, and drilling facilities.
IV. JUDGING CRITERION
ROUND 1:
The arena will consist of a slanted plane. There will be a start line marked on the highest point on the slanted plane. Teams should release their bot form the start line. There is a straight line marked on the axis of symmetry of the slanted plane.
? Total score will be the = (distance traveled along the straight line from the bottom line of plane X 10) – (deviation from straight-line X 5)
Top 15 teams will be qualified for the Second round on the basis of their score.
ROUND 2:
Model specification, Rules, and judging criterion will be provided to the teams which qualified for the second round. It will be provided at the scheduled time of JUNKYARD WAR second round. The scores of the first round will not be carried over to the second round.

V. RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. The instructions for the second round will be given at the time of the event.
- Any team that is not ready at the time specified will be disqualified from the competition automatically.
- The decision of the judges shall be treated as final and binding in any circumstance.
- A team may consist of a maximum of 4 participants.
- The teams must adhere to the spirit of healthy competition. The COORDINATORS reserves the right to disqualify any team indulging in misbehavior.
- All rights are reserved with the COORDINATORS. They may or may not disclose any information depending upon the information asked. They can change any rule at any time according to the situation.

Q1. Do I need to register online for the event?
A1. Yes. You need to register online to participate by clicking on the google link provided in this form.
Q2. What type of knowledge do I need to have?
A2. Not much. What we really expect from you is to have a good understanding of mechanisms and practical knowledge.

A3. We can provide you various tools, junk, joining, and drilling facility depending upon the model requirements.

A4. Four to five hours.
Q5. Is there any restriction on the branch of the participant?

VII. CERTIFICATION POLICY
? Certificate of excellence will be awarded to the winning team and the rest two runner-up teams from the final round.

SHORT VIDEOS
Guidelines for short videos
- The video should not exceed 1 minute (60 sec.)
- The video should be in the Mp4 format
- The video should contain Name of the submitter, Topic selected and event name
- The video should contain self-declaration in beginning. Use the following sentence “The work submitted herein being original, created by submitter only and all rights being owned by submitter”.
- The videos should be the original work of students
- It should detail the idea presented
- It should not be clipped from well-known video sharing portals such as TikTok, YouTube, and others.
- No religious, political, vulgar, misogynistic, and controversial content allowed. Violation of these guidelines will lead to immediate disqualification from the event.
- Students have to present their videos and ideas behind online through Zoom in 2 minutes
Themes of video
No barrier to creativity. All themes and content allowed except items mentioned in point number 8 above.
Judging criterion
The Videos will be judged in terms of creativity, originality, message content, and technical organization (sound and picture quality). The decisions of the judges will be final.
Creativity /Originality
- Entries must be the students’ own work, in the student’s own words, and may include personal experiences and thoughtful observations. Videos must reflect that the student has carefully examined and thought through the topic.
- Message Content:
- Does the student apply/address the theme they have chosen
- Is the video relevant?
- How compelling is the video?
- Is the video presented in a logical sequence?
- Technical Organization:
- How well is the video produced in regards to continuity, timing, camera operation, sound quality, editing, and adherence to time limit of 3 minutes or (180 seconds).

Guidelines
- Event is going through Zoom cloud app/Google Meet app
- There are three-judge in this event(Mr. Ravi/Dr. Parul/Mr. Somendra Tripathi)
- If participant are more than 20 then each team has two members and time is 2 mints for each team.
- If students are less than 20 then the topic is randomly giving that time individually and time consideration is 2 mints.
- The number of rounds depends on the number of participants.
- E certificate is giving to all participants.
- Registration is free.

Technical Poster Presentation
Technical Poster Presentation is a research communication competition. The exercise develops academic, presentation, and communication skills and supports the development of research students' capacity to effectively explain their research in a language appropriate to an intelligent but non-specialist audience.
I. ELIGIBILITY
1. Members of a team may be from the same college or different (School, UG, or PG).
2. Each team may consist of a maximum of 2 participants.
3. All students with a valid identity card of their respective colleges are eligible to participate.
4. Participants need to have a basic idea about related topics.

- Maximum size limit for the poster is A3 (29.7 x 42.0 cm).
- Teams may add the necessary pictures in their Poster.
No additional electronic media (e.g. sound and video files) are permitted.
- No additional props (e.g. costumes, laboratory equipment) are permitted.
