Rama University's Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries, in collaboration with Institution's Innovation Cell (IIC), are all set to organize an expert lecture on the occasion of World Earth Day. The event will be held offline on April 21, 2023, at the VC Building Conference hall, 1st Floor, Rama University, Mandhana, Kanpur, starting from 11:00 am onwards.
About the expert
The lecture will focus on the crucial topic of "Climate Change and its impact on Indian Agriculture," delivered by Prof. Munish Kumar.
Professor Munish Kumar is an accomplished academician with over 21 years of experience in administration. He currently serves as the Head of the Department of Soil Conservation and Water Management and the Coordinator of the College of Forestry at Chandrashekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology. He is also the Nodal officer at ICAR. With 121 publications in international and national journals, he is a well-known researcher in his field. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2022 by the Academy for Environment and Life Science.
