Five Day Anti-Ragging Awareness Workshop Organized by Faculty of Juridical Sciences

As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus environment, the Faculty of Juridical Sciences, Rama University organized a 5-Day Workshop on Anti-Ragging Awareness from 13th to 20th August 2025.
The workshop aimed to educate students about the legal, psychological, and social consequences of ragging, while promoting a culture of empathy, discipline, and mutual respect.
The sessions were conducted under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall (Dean, FJS) and were coordinated by Ms. Riddhi Tripathi (HoD, FJS), Mr. Maneesh Srivastava (Assistant Professor) along with student coordinators of B.A.LL.B. VII Semester- Vaishnavi Singh, Varonica Chaturvedi, Archita Dixit, Shiv Vatsal Dwivedi, Aryan Pandey & Isha Thakur.
The awareness drive was extended across various faculties as per the following schedule:

Each session witnessed active engagement from both students and faculty, contributing to meaningful dialogue on student safety and campus harmony.
A total of approximately 400 students participated across all five days, gaining awareness about their rights, responsibilities, and legal protections under anti-ragging laws.
These programmes reaffirm Rama University’s commitment to upholding UGC guidelines and ensuring a ragging-free, student-friendly academic environment.
