Grand Celebration of Mahashivratri at Shiv Mandir Ground, Rama University

9 March 2024, Rama University: Mahashivratri, one of the most revered festivals in Hindu culture, was celebrated with immense zeal and devotion at the Shiv Mandir Ground, Rama University. The festivities included a vibrant Vishaal bhandara, marking the occasion with splendour.
Devotees congregated in large numbers to partake in the festivities, which commenced with the auspicious poojan of goddess Annapurna and offerings of Bhog to Lord Shiva. The atmosphere reverberated with prayers and chants as devotees sought blessings and spiritual enlightenment.
A highlight of the celebration was the serving of Prashad, which continued throughout the day till evening, ensuring all devotees could partake in the divine offering. Around 8000 people gathered to receive the blessed Prashad, underscoring the significance and popularity of the auspicious Bhandara.
The event not only fostered a sense of unity and devotion among the attendees but also served as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage and spiritual traditions upheld by the community. Mahashivratri at Shiv Mandir Ground, Rama University, was truly a spectacle of faith and reverence.
