Importance of Molecular Biomarkers Covered in the Expert Lecture on “Healthcare Sensing Technologies”

The expert lecture on “Healthcare Sensing Technologies” organized on December 7, 2021, by the Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of engineering and technology, Rama University Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur, was conducted successfully. Dr.Pranjal Chandra has postdoctoral training at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israel. During his talk, Dr.Pranjal Chandra covered the importance of the molecular biomarkers, detailed about different nano-bio sensors, advances in biosensors, advanced micro and nanomanufacturing technologies, and his research about COVID-19 by using nano-sensors, about biosensing and medical devices. About the Event:
Dr.Pranjal Chandra also covered next-generation sensors, spanning a wide range in nano-biotechnology, nano-dendritic nano-chips for labeled free hydrogen peroxide detection in blood samples, hydrogen peroxide biosensing applications,lab-on-chip systems for biomedical engineering, and mostly about new technologies which he has performed in his lab which are very helpful in medical healthcare.
A total of 77 biotechnology students were benefited from this lecture. This lecture provided ample opportunities for students to discuss with the speaker. The convener of this event was Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, Head, Department of Biotechnology and Co-ordinated by Dr. Anil Kumar, Assistant Prof. Department of Biotechnology.
