International Day of Peace Observed

The International Day of Peace or World Peace Day is observed annually on September 21. The day is dedicated to enhancing cohesion and peace among all people across the world. The absence of war and violence is the key objective. The International Day of Peace was celebrated for the first time in 1982 and since then every year it is celebrated with great fervor. For 2019, the theme is "Climate Action for Peace"
Faculty of Juridical Sciences celebrated International Day of Peace, on 21st September 2019 and organized a quiz competition. The competition witnessed the participation of more than 200 students from different streams of the department. The students showed tremendous enthusiasm in the competition and submitted well-researched essays on the topic. The organizing team comprised off:
