Ashtang Sambhasha Sangam International Webinar was organized by Rama University’s Rama Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Mandhana, Kanpur- Uttar Pradesh, in association with Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad and Chaukhamba Sanskrit Sansthan- Varanasi on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. About the Event :
The webinar was coordinated by Dr. Saish Gawas and the Faculty of Engineering Rama University. Dr. Ragini Tiwari anchored the event. Dr. Omvir Singh, Principal Rama Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital Mandhana, Kanpur- Uttar Pradesh, commenced the event with a welcome speech. The program was in association with Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad, Dr. K.K. Dwiwedi gave a brief introduction to the VAP organization.
Guest of Honor was Dr. S.P. Mishra, Ex-Vice Chancellor Uttarakhand Ayurveda University & Dr. Shashirekha H.K., HoD Dept. of Samhita IMS-BHU Uttar Pradesh.
The guest lecture was delivered by Dr. Santosh Y M, Associate professor Dept. of Shalyatantra KAHER’s Shri BMK Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya Belagavi- Karnataka on the topic Ayurveda Medicine in the Recent era. He gave brief and practical knowledge about applying traditional medicine in the modern-day period.
Dr. Shawn Kumar delivered the second guest lecture, Chief Consultant Ayuryog Wellness & Panchakarma Centre Nausori-Fizi, on Ayurveda medicine in today’s era in Hypothyroidism. He elocuted the audience about the correlation of thyroid disorders with the disease quoted in ancient texts. He also shared his experience applying herbal and herbomineral medicine formulation to manage both Hyop & Hyperthyroidism.
The program was conducted for 2 hours, and 200 participants participated in this webinar.
Dr. Anurudh Gupta delivered a vote of thanks at the end of the webinar.
