One-Day Workshop on Essential New-born Care: Empowering Future Healthcare Professionals

Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, November 23, 2024 – The Faculty of Nursing at Rama University successfully hosted a "One Day Workshop on Essential New-born Care" in collaboration with the Research Foundation of India. Held on the occasion of National New-born Week 2024, the event aimed to enhance nursing students' knowledge and skills in neonatal healthcare.
The workshop took place in the Multipurpose Hall of the Faculty of Nursing, Rama University, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., bringing together 225 nursing students from diverse academic programs. This initiative reflected Rama University's dedication to fostering practical expertise among future healthcare professionals.

The workshop provided a comprehensive approach to essential New-born care through both theoretical insights and hands-on training. Key topics included:

Dr. Anand Roges Joel, Professor and Head of Pediatric Nursing at the Government College of Nursing, LLRM Medical College, Meerut, delivered the keynote address. Sharing his wealth of experience, Dr. Joel emphasized the significance of timely interventions in New-born care. His engaging lecture, real-life case studies, and detailed guidance on neonatal resuscitation provided immense value to attendees.
