Oral Hygiene Day observed on August 1, 2019

Rama Dental College Hospital & Research Center, Kanpur celebrated “ORAL HYGIENE DAY” on 1st August 2019.
Oral hygiene day is celebrated all across India on August 1st to commemorate the ‘Birth Anniversary of Dr. G. B. Shankwalkar’ the doyen of Indian Periodontics as a part of this celebration multiple programs were held to spread the awareness among the public regarding the importance of oral hygiene in maintaining good oral health.
Dept of Periodontics, Rama Dental College celebrated the occasion by bringing out a rally for oral hygiene awareness. Educating and motivating pamphlets were distributed to the patients and also a Free Dental Check-Up camp was organized in Dr.Virendra Swaroop public school by Dept of Public Health Dentistry.
The Principal along with all the teaching faculty and students have enthusiastically participated in the program.
