Rama University conducted a student motivational and awareness program titled “Introduction of skill development and youth welfare schemes in Uttar Pradesh” on 6th February in VC seminar hall. Chief Guest of the program was Prof. A. Vaishampayan, Emeritus Professor & vice Chairman (IQAC), Former Director, Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Banaras Hindu University and special guest was Mr. Ajay Panwar KDA Executive Engineer Mr. Sunil Dutta, KDA. Dr. Prateek Singh, Director Rama University, Dr. Pranav Singh, Director Rama University, Dr. Hari Om Sharan, Dean Academic Affairs and Dr. Soni Verma, Principal Rama Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital were also present in the program.
The speaker of this program was Prof. A. Vaishampayan. The presenter who himself is a source of motivation to students gave encouraging talk to student and told them about what new opportunities “UP Global Investors Summit-2023” is going to open for them in future. UPGIS- 2023 is a step towards making Uttar Pradesh a USD 1-trillion economy. The ultimate goal of the talk was to make students aware about welfare schemes and skill development. Prof. A. Vaishampayan said that Skills and awareness are the driving forces behind every country's economic and social growth and it is becoming increasingly important for the country to concentrate on skill development. During his entire talk he mainly focused on the youth welfare schemes for skill development and employment generation. He told about “Nivesh Sarathi” and “Nivesh Mitra” portal and how these portals will ease investments.
At the end of the program Dr. Hari om sharan presented momento to Prof. A. Vaishampayan.
