Rama University Empowers Faculty Members with Five-Day Research Methodology Faculty Development Program

Recently, Rama University conducted a highly successful five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Research Methodology with the goal of empowering faculty members with the latest research techniques and methods. A remarkable group of academicians, eminent professionals, and prominent guests from various sectors actively participated in the programme, which was jointly organized by the Faculty of Juridical Sciences, Faculty of Commerce and Management and Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
The FDP commenced with an auspicious inauguration ceremony, graced by the presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Janardhana Amarnath B.J., Registrar Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. (Dr.) Hariom Sharan, and Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Pushpender Kumar Surya, a distinguished faculty member from Kirorimal College, University of Delhi. Also present were the Deans of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, and Dean of Research and Development, Dr. Vaishai Dhingra and Dr. Manish Dhingra, along with Dr. Ravikant Gupta. Under the leadership of co-conveners Dr. Arun Verma and Dr. Indu Shukla, the FDP was successfully organized.
Overview of the Five-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP)
The FDP included workshops presented by renowned experts who shared their insightful knowledge and experiences with the participants over the course of five enlightening days. The workshops included a range of topics related to research methodology, such as research ethics, different forms of research, research methodologies, and more.
On the second day, Prof. (Dr.) Vaishali Dhingra, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rama University, delivered an insightful session on Research Ethics, emphasizing the importance of maintaining ethical standards while conducting research.
Prof. (Dr.) Manish Dhingra, Dean of Research and Development at Rama University, took the stage on the third day to deliver a comprehensive session on Types of Research, enlightening the participants about different research methodologies and approaches.
The fourth day witnessed a captivating session by Prof. S.D Sharma from SSJ University, Almora, who shared his extensive knowledge on research methodologies, providing the participants with valuable insights into the intricacies of conducting effective research.
The grand finale of the FDP took place on the fifth day with Prof. Preeti Saxena, Director of CPGLS, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow, as the distinguished guest speaker. Prof. Saxena delivered an engaging session on Strategies of Conducting Research, equipping the participants with practical tools and techniques to enhance their research endeavors.
The FDP proved to be a remarkable platform for academicians and researchers to exchange ideas, gain new perspectives, and foster collaborations.
