Rama University Hosts Successful International Conference on Emerging Trends in Agriculture

Rama University, recently concluded its two-day "International Conference on Emerging Trends in Agriculture & Allied Sectors for Sustainable Development," organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries. The event showcased a distinguished lineup of speakers and covered crucial topics in the field. Special Thanks to the experts of German Association of Homa Therapy, for enlighten the participants with the valuable knowledge and insight on “Agnihotra and Agnihotra Ash Remedies and Homa Organic Farming.”
Expert Insights
The conference commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Chairperson & Dean, FASAI. Dr. Vishnu D. Rajput, Head of 'Soil Health Lab' at Southern Federal University, Russia, delivered a fascinating lecture on the "Role of Nanotechnology in Soil Health Improvement and Sustainable Crop Production." He emphasized how nanotechnology enhances nutrient delivery and soil fertility.
Dr. Yogesh Kumar, Principal Scientist & Chickpea Breeder, highlighted the nutritional value of chickpeas and their global significance. Prof. (Dr). Bhanu Pratap addressed ethical considerations in research, emphasizing the importance of informed consent.
Mr. Praveen Verma, MD of Manupra Foods Pvt. Ltd., discussed the employment prospects in mushroom production, citing its growing demand due to nutritional and medicinal properties.
Dr. Ambreesh Yadav concluded the conference, emphasizing millets as the future's wonder food, with benefits for health and the environment.
