Rama University Observes NSS Foundation Day with Pledge Taking Ceremony

On September 25, 2024, the Faculty of Juridical Sciences (FJS) at Rama University, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, organized a pledge-taking ceremony to mark NSS Foundation Day. The event took place in the seminar hall of the FJS and aimed to raise awareness about the importance of the NSS pledge among student volunteers.
The ceremony was graced by prominent figures from Rama University, including the Honourable Vice Chancellor, Dr. Janardhana Amaranath B.J., Registrar Shri Prabhat Ranjan, and Dr. Raghvendra Singh, NSS Chief Officer. The event began with a warm welcome address by Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean of FJS and the convener of the program.
Dr. Janardhana Amaranath B.J. delivered the keynote speech, where he highlighted the significance of NSS Foundation Day and inspired the NSS volunteers with his thoughts on community service and nation-building. Registrar Shri Prabhat Ranjan emphasized the practical relevance of the NSS in fostering a spirit of service and responsibility among students.
The event was attended by around 100 enthusiastic NSS volunteers, who actively participated in the pledge-taking ceremony. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by co-convener Ms. Riddhi Tripathi, Assistant Professor at FJS.
This event not only served as a reminder of the values upheld by the NSS but also motivated the volunteers to continue their dedication to serving society.
