Rama University's Faculty of Juridical Sciences Hosts Successful Debate Competition

Rama University's Faculty of Juridical Sciences recently organized an engaging Debate Competition on November 27, 2023. The event provided a platform for law students to showcase their oratory skills and critical thinking.

The debate took place from 10 AM onwards, attracting enthusiastic participation from students pursuing BALLB, BBA LLB, and LLB courses. A total of 10 teams, each comprising two students, engaged in lively discussions on various topics.
The aim of the debate was to encourage students to express their opinions on current ongoing situations. Participants had the opportunity to articulate and defend their perspectives, fostering a dynamic learning environment. The competition successfully achieved its goal by giving students a platform to assess their knowledge and present their views effectively. The friendly arguments and discussions added a vibrant touch to the academic atmosphere.
The coveted title of debate champions was awarded to Laraib Waris Khan and Alfiya Mukhtar. Their exceptional performance reflected not only a mastery of the subject matter but also effective communication skills.
The success of the event was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the Program Coordinator, Dr. Abhay Shukla and the Program Convenor, Ms. Disha Jaiswal.
The Debate Competition organized by Rama University's Faculty of Juridical Sciences continues to contribute to the development of students' communication and critical thinking skills, enriching their academic experience.
