The Workshop conducted on “Anti Ragging Guidelines”

Rama University’s Faculty of Dental Sciences, Kanpur organized a Workshop on “Anti Ragging Guidelines” on 18th November 2016. The programme was inaugurated by the dignitaries Dr. Rajashekar Sangur- Dean, Faculty of Dental Sciences, Dr. S.K. Katharia, DCI Executive Committee Member, Shri Rajdev Prajapati, Station Officer, Kalyanpur Police Station- Kanpur, Brig A.K. Sharma (Retd.) A& F- Rama University, Dr. R.K. Srivastava - Dean, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Mrs. Sutha. R – Dean, Faculty of Nursing and Dr. Anil Kohli, CDE Convener, Rama Dental College.
Inauguration was followed by the release of the Information Booklet on “Anti Ragging Guidelines” by Dr. S.K. Katharia DCI Executive Committee Member, and later, he enlightened the gathering on the various aspects of Ragging. Dr. Rajashekar Sangur and Brig A.K. Sharma gave their opinion on Ragging and its effects on humanity. Students of Rama Dental College Hospital & Research Centre, Kanpur presented with a small skit on Ragging and its consequences. Anti- Ragging Committee Members, Anti Ragging Squad members, Faculty of Dental, Medical & Nursing Colleges as well as First & Second year Dental, Medical and Nursing students were present at the occasion. Dr. Anil Kohli, Dean-Human Resource, Faculty of Dental Sciences concluded the programme with a vote of thanks and followed by National Anthem.
