Day-1



The highly anticipated Techno and Cultural fest of RAMA University began on 17th April 2019 and will go on till 20th April 2019. The four-day event hosts numerous events dotted throughout the day.

The 4 days long techno-cultural fest of RAMA University started with full zeal and zest on 17th April 2019.

It started with the Inauguration of the Manthan fest in the seminar room on the third floor of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) building. All the distinguished guests including the chief guest Mr. Jinendra Singh were welcomed by students, Arti & Tikka was done and a bouquet of flowers was presented to the guests as a part of our traditional welcome.

The cultural committee comprising of students welcomed the guests by an introductory speech and the sequence of events was informed to the students as well as the guests. This was followed by the Lighting of Lamp ceremony performed by the Chief Guest, Director, Registrar, and various Deans and HOD’s. A soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana was performed to pay our gratitude to the Goddess of Learning Maa Saraswati. A tribute was paid to our visionary founder Dr. B.S.Kushwah, who was an educationist and the guiding force behind the RAMA group. One of the students’ performed a beautiful dance sequence depicting Ganesh Vandana which is considered as an auspicious ritual to start some good work.

Our respected Dean Dr. Hari Om Sharan Sir gave the welcome address, welcoming all the guests, faculty and students to this mega event. He discussed the importance of such events by saying that these events are done at par with other Technical Institutes. He emphasized on the fact that these events give a chance and exposure to all the students to showcase their technical and cultural talents. Sir also informed about the Innovation and Incubation center and about the MANTHAN innovation challenge wherein the students can showcase their inventions, innovations, and startups and win prizes, eventually if selected they would also get seed funding for their project. Apart from this he also emphasized on the importance of how much all the students can learn and achieve by participating in such events.

This was followed by a motivating speech by Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Registrar, Rama University who introduced the Chief guest Mr. Jinendra Singh who is an alumnus of IIT Mumbai. In his speech, the chief guest spoke about the importance of education and also motivated the students by sharing his experience in the field of technology. A memento was presented to the chief guest as a mark of honor from Rama University.

Vote of thanks was delivered by Mr. Samir Mishra sir, Assistant Director (research) and he once again thanked everyone to put up the mega event and invited everyone to participate, view and enjoy the 4 days technical and cultural event.
