Industry-Academia Partnership

As an Industry-Academia initiative we have adopted a dual approach in which the experts from the industries are invited to impart lectures to the students on advancements in the industry along with visits to theses industrial units to get a better insight into the changing trends in the market. This commensurate the students with the current corporate scenario and also presents them with the opportunity to prepare for the future enterprise.

Students at Rama University are constantly motivated to achieve their aspirations. In a bid to aid the grooming of future professionals we organize industrial visits. Following are the details of some of the industrial units where our students visit:

B. Tech Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communication, IT students were taken for a visit to Infosys Technologies, Chandigarh. The students were involved in various corporate presentations and also given a chance to participate in role playing activities and acquaint themselves better with the corporate culture.

Students of MCA, B.Tech and IT were taken to HCL Infosystems, Rudrapur as a part of industrial visit programme. The students had a chance to see the manufacturing of computer parts and get a hand on experience and real-time workings the of HCL Infosystems Ltd., a renowned company delivering State of the art IT systems in MRP, ERP and Online configurations.

B. Tech Electronics & Communication and Electrical & Electronics students visited Doordarshan, Lucknow to have a real-time experience of Telecasting, Broadcasting and Picturisation mechanism concerned with communication of data.

Students had memorable time learning about advanced communication, practical management and technical approach.

Parag is a renowned name in the Milk Production Industry. Students of Master of Business Administration were taken on a visit to Parag Dairy, Lucknow to provide a deep insight into the production and distribution process. The students learned about the management methods and their practical application.

Mechanical Engineering students were taken to visit HAL, Kanpur to provide a real-time view of Defense sub system production. During the visit they witnessed the efficient operating of huge CNC and DNC machines used for production of Defense equipments.
